Description
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients across various clinical settings, including critical care.
- Assess patients’ respiratory status and determine appropriate respiratory therapy interventions.
- Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patients’ responses to respiratory treatments and modify interventions as clinically appropriate.
- Assist with the management of patients requiring advanced respiratory support and critical care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy may be accepted/preferred as specified.
- 0–2 years of clinical experience required.
- Minimum 6 months of critical care experience required.
- Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) credential required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certification required.
