Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Skilled Nursing Facility
Virginia Beach, Virginia
We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a full-time Skilled Nursing Facility contract in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This post-acute rehab opportunity offers the chance to work with adult and geriatric patients while helping them improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall functional independence.
This is a great fit for a PT who enjoys working in a collaborative rehab environment and making a meaningful impact on patients’ recovery and quality of life.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and physician orders.
- Treat orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and medically complex patients.
- Provide gait training, balance training, therapeutic exercise, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, OT, SLP, and case management.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safety strategies and home exercise programs.
- Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.
