Outpatient Hand Therapy OT – Taos, NM
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an Outpatient Hand Therapy travel assignment in Taos, New Mexico.
This is an excellent opportunity for an OT with hand and upper-extremity experience who enjoys specialized outpatient rehabilitation. You'll work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, fractures, and other conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity.

Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current New Mexico OT license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current BLS certification
- Previous hand therapy/upper-extremity experience
- Strong orthopedic evaluation and treatment skills
- Experience with post-operative hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation
- Splinting/orthosis experience preferred
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
- Strong documentation and patient education skills
What You'll Do
- Complete OT evaluations and reassessments
- Treat hand, wrist, elbow, and upper-extremity conditions
- Provide post-operative and orthopedic rehabilitation
- Address ROM, strength, dexterity, coordination, pain, edema, and functional limitations
- Provide therapeutic exercise and functional activities
- Fabricate or recommend splints/orthoses as appropriate
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, joint protection, and injury prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and the outpatient rehabilitation team
- Complete timely clinical documentation
