Travel Cath Lab RN – Quick Highlights
- Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab RN
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
- Shift: Days, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Start Date: August 31, 2026
- Experience: 2 years minimum
- Required Certifications: BLS & ACLS
- License: Active RN license
- Cath/EP Experience: Required
- Required Skills: Must be able to monitor and circulate Cath Lab and/or EP procedures
- Procedures: Diagnostic cath, PCI, complex PCI, CTO, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, ECMO, pacemakers, ICDs, ablations, lead extractions and more
- Equipment: GE & Philips X-ray, Volcano IVUS/FFR, Merge Hemo
- Charting: Merge Hemo & Meditech
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 1 patient : 3 staff
- Floating: Only to Prep & Recovery
- Scrubs: Required

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
