- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36
- Primary location:Waupaca (Level IV Trauma Center)
- Shift Requirements: 12hr NOCs Shift start time: 7p-7a *any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence
- Weekend: Every Other Weekend (Must be available to work Memorial Day)
- Holidays: Holiday rotation
- On Call/Call Back Requirements: None
- Required certifications: WI RN License, AHA BLS & NIHSS
- Minimum Experience Required: 1-2+ years experience
- Required Skillset: Stepdown experience strongly preferred; Must be comfortable with some patients being on drips; Critical access experience strong preferred
- Charting Experience: EPIC within the last year
- Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates
- Scrub Colors: Black
Unit Information: More of a stepdown/med/surg with higher acuity than true ICU due to rural nature of this hospital. 20 bed with an average daily census of 12-18.
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 (normal); Can go as high as 1:7 on busier days
- Scrubs: Black
