Manager Interview
Unit: RN Wound

ALL Required Licenses and Certifications: WI or compact RN license, AHA or ARC BLS. Prefer wound and ostomy certification or extensive work in wound/ostomy clinic     

Required Education (ex: BSN or AND): AND  
Minimum Experience (yrs in specialty): 2 years in Wound care or certification    

EPIC Charting Experience (required or preferred): required    
Desired Specific Skillset for an ideal candidate: wound and ostomy experience   

Unit Overview: Outpatient procedural department. NP sees active patients at least weekly to develop plan of care, RNs carry out plan of care. Also perform inpatient and ED consultations.   
Current Patient Ratio: 1 RN: 8 or 9 visits per day with CNA assistance  
Primary Case/Procedure Types: Topical wound care, compression wraps, wound VACs,  total contact casting, conservative sharp wound debridement, ostomy pouching system changes, peristomal skin breakdown treatment      
Scrub Colors required:  Any type of scrubs, closed toed shoes, no fake nails or nail polish

Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36    
Primary location: Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital; Rhinelander, WI    
Shift Length: 9 hours, 4 days a week  
Shift start and end time(s): 0730 to 1700      
Float Requirements (campuses and/or units): Howard Young Wound Clinic; Woodruff, WI   
On Call/Call Back Requirements: Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours

Weekend Rotation Requirements: No weekends 
Holiday Rotation Requirements: No holidays
