Certs required at time of submission: BLS, ACLS
Experience:2 years recent PCU
Notes: NO AZ TRAVELERS, No more than 7 days RTO, Start date must be within 3 weeks of start date listed on job posting or for ASAP must be no more than 3 weeks from  submission date. Must have prior Level I trauma and large facility experience

Ratios - 1:5 PCU, 1:6 MS

The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that floats throughout our two campuses, BUMC-Tucson (600+ bed Level I Trauma) and BUMC-South, to provide support where necessary. • BUMC-Tucson Campus has approximately 16 Adult Health units with patients that range from Observation (two teams), Med Surg (four units), and PCU (12 units). PCU travelers may be floated to any of these units during their contract. Occasionally, they may be floated to the ED or the PACU to take Adult Health patients with inpatient orders waiting on a bed on a unit, although this is not common. • BUMC-South Campus is approximately a 10-minute drive from BUMC-Tucson. It has four (4) Adult Health units (one OBS, one PCU, and two MS) which they may float. Previous travel experience is required.

Weekends, Holidays and Float per department guidelines.
