Description
**Title**
Registered Nurse – Postpartum
**Schedule**
Weekend requirement: Yes
Pre-approved time off: 1 day (requests must be submitted up-front)
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays
**Assignment Details**
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
**Requirements**
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- CA state license in-hand (pending license not accepted)
- Compact license must be in-hand at submission
- Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
- Patient ratio experience: 1:3
- Experience with high-risk OB care
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide care for patients in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn units.
- Circulate for cesarean sections and manage high-risk obstetric care.
- Perform fetal monitoring, including interpretation of fetal heart patterns.
- Administer medications and manage IV/infusion pumps.
- Support breastfeeding and lactation needs and provide care for neonates.
- Conduct basic procedures related to maternal and infant care.
