Description

Job Requirements:

Labor & Delivery experience required
2 years of L&D scrubbing experience required
Experience with Cesarean Sections (C/S) required
NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
BLS certification required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or certification/degree from an accredited nursing program required
Must live 50+ miles from the facility
Strong communication skills required

Job Duties:

Prepare supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for surgical procedures.
Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
Pass instruments during procedures and assist the surgical team.
Assist with patient positioning and patient movement.
Perform case cleanup and room turnovers.
Support the surgical team throughout Labor & Delivery procedures, including C-sections.
