Description
Title: CT Tech
Location: Grand Junction, CO 81501
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 3×12 (36 hrs./week), 12-hour shifts
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of CT experience preferred
- 1–2 years of acute care/hospital experience preferred
- ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
- BLS (AHA) required
- State licensure as applicable
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques, protocols, sectional anatomy, and positioning
- Experience with contrast administration and contrast injector operation
- Radiation badge required; provided by supplier
Description:
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations using ionizing radiation. The technologist will operate CT equipment, verify orders and patient identification, prepare and position patients, perform exams according to protocol, evaluate images for quality, administer contrast when indicated, and maintain radiation safety standards. The role also involves responding to emergent patient situations, documenting procedures, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
