Travel RN – Cardiac Telemetry

Specialty: Registered Nurse – Cardiac Telemetry
Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Contract: 13 weeks
 

Unit Details

• 28-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit
• Provides care for patients with a variety of cardiac conditions
• Includes post-operative cardiac care
• RN-to-patient ratio: 1:4–6
• Supported by:
  • Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
  • Healthcare Unit Coordinator
  • Monitor Technicians
  • Virtual sitter monitoring
• Level I Trauma Center
• Cares for patients across all age groups
• Nurses work collaboratively as a team

Core Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to hospital policies and procedures
• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Assess and document patient conditions
• Communicate changes in patient status appropriately
• Coordinate care among multiple disciplines
• Carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assist with discharge planning
• Use critical thinking and independent judgment
• Follow appropriate PPE and Standard Precautions

Schedule Requirements

• Night shift: 6:30 PM–7:00 AM

Candidate Screening

Confirm the candidate has:

• ✅ Recent Cardiac Telemetry RN experience
• ✅ Experience caring for cardiac patients
• ✅ Telemetry/ cardiac monitoring experience
