Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Treva Workforce is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract opportunity. This is a great fit for a PTA who enjoys working directly with patients, collaborating closely with a therapy team, and helping people regain strength, mobility, and independence.

What You’ll Do

• Provide hands-on treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Carry out individualized plans of care
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT
• Educate and encourage patients throughout their recovery
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and other members of the care team

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current PTA license for the state of assignment
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with the supervising Physical Therapist
• Previous clinical experience preferred
