Description
Sr. Special Procedures Technologist
Location- Los Angeles, CA
Shift- Varied Days (4x10s; 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM, or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours- 40 hrs/week
Contract Length- 13 Weeks
Pay Package:
- Weekly Gross: $3,039
- W2 Rate /Hr (1–8 hrs): $25
W2 Rate /Hr (9–10 hrs): $37.50 - Weekly Stipend: $1,939
Additional Benefits:
- 24 hrs Paid Orientation
- 13 hrs Paid Sick Leave
Job Description:
Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT preferred, CA RT License, Fluoroscopy, HLFS, PVMB/TEAM/TEAM-A/CPI
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience preferred
- Special Procedures Technologist experience preferred
- Experience with cardiac and vascular radiographic procedures
- Performs and assists with interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Operates sophisticated radiographic and digital imaging equipment
- Provides patient positioning, instructions, and specialized studies
- Strong technical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills required
- Provides technical training and mentorship to staff
- Variable day shifts
- Call required: 2 weeknights per week and every other weekend
- Active CA Radiologic Technologist license required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology preferred
