Description
CT Technologist – Night Shift
Specialty: CT Technologist
Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT experience
Certification: ARRT (CT)
Required Certification: BLS
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday/Saturday/Sunday
Weekend Requirement: Weekend nights
Local Radius: Candidates must live 50+ miles from the facility
Floating: Optional
Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
Equipment: Siemens CT scanners
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a Level II Trauma Center on a 12-hour night shift. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of CT experience, hold current ARRT (CT) certification and BLS, and be comfortable performing a broad range of CT examinations in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Siemens computerized tomography equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging.
- Perform trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT examinations.
- Provide imaging services for patients across Emergency Department, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
- Perform CT examinations for patients ranging from neonates and pediatrics to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Follow established imaging protocols and ensure accurate positioning, scanning, and image quality.
- Work effectively in a Level II Trauma Center, responding appropriately to urgent and emergent imaging needs.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout examinations.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care.
- Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper handling of imaging studies.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CT.
- Current ARRT (CT) certification required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Siemens CT experience preferred.
- Experience with trauma and stroke imaging strongly preferred.
- Experience in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient CT environments preferred.
- Must be comfortable caring for patients across the full age spectrum.
- No local candidates within 50 miles.
- Weekend night availability required.
