Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Skilled Nursing Facility

Norfolk, Virginia

We are seeking a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a Skilled Nursing Facility contract in Norfolk, Virginia. This post-acute rehab opportunity offers the chance to work with adult and geriatric patients while helping improve communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall quality of life.

This is a great fit for an SLP who enjoys working with a collaborative interdisciplinary team and making a meaningful impact with patients in a SNF environment.

Responsibilities

Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
Treat communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Provide dysphagia management and patient/caregiver education.
Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, PT, OT, and case management.
Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.
