Description
Tell us about the unit(s):
- Number of Beds - 17
- Number of Staff – 56
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 Charge, 5-6 RN's and 1 OB Scrub Tech
- Night Shift – 1 Charge, 5-6 RN's and 1 OB Scrub Tech
- Patient Ratios – 1:1 - 1:3, can fluctuate with acuity - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
- Type of equipment – EFM (TOCCO, US), Doppler, Novii
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital L&D experience
- BLS, ACLS, & NRP
- AWHONN or NCC-EFM
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Meditech experience
- Willing to Precept
- CEFM
- RNC-OB

- Labor, C-Section, PIT, Magnesium drip, IA
- ECV, Cerclage placement

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.
Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
