Outpatient Oncology RN – Travel Contract

Shift: Days | 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Contract: 8 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: As per contract

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Outpatient Oncology RN to join a specialized Cancer Center team. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient oncology experience, chemotherapy/immunotherapy expertise, and proficiency with Epic Beacon.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification required
• Previous Outpatient Cancer Center experience required
• Epic Beacon experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Strong oncology patient care and infusion experience preferred

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• No call currently required
• Every 5th weekend: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Rotating holidays with regular staff: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care to outpatient oncology patients
• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy according to established protocols
• Monitor patients for treatment response and adverse reactions
• Coordinate care with physicians and the multidisciplinary oncology team
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic Beacon
• Support patient education and treatment-related needs

Additional Information

• May float onsite within the candidate’s skill set
• May be required to float to other locations within a 40-mile radius
• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient cancer center environment is highly preferred
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and oncology-specific skills are essential

Weekly Pay : $3,066.00
