Eligibility

Must live >50 miles from facility

Preferred Education: -Successful completion of a Cardiac Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program accredited by CAAHEP. OR -A program accepted for certification by ARDMS or CCI. Required Certifications& Licensure: -Registered Diagnostic cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) issued by ARDMS. OR -Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) issued by CCI. --Candidates not yet certified must: -Be eligible for RDCS certification. -Obtain RDCS or RCS within 90 days of employment. -A current American Heart Association Responder or Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card. -Must maintain RQI Responder certification and competency as a condition of employment.

Two (2) years of full-time (or equivalent) cardiac ultrasound experience and participation in at least 600 cardiac ultrasounds may qualify while obtaining certification within 90 days of employment. Certifications Required: Preferred Education: -Successful completion of a Cardiac Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program accredited by CAAHEP.
