Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Echocardiographic Technician for an exciting assignment in St. Helena, California. This opportunity offers a consistent 4x10 schedule with start times at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM, providing an excellent work-life balance while supporting a respected healthcare facility.

This position is open to travelers whose permanent residence is located 50+ miles from the facility.

Assignment Details

Requirements

• Current ARDMS or CCI certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• ECG experience preferred
• Associate’s degree or experience in a related field preferred and/or per state requirements
• One (1) year of experience as a Cardiovascular Technician preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR certification if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Details of Assignment:

Job Summary: Performs ultrasound technical duties for imaging heart muscle and functions. Creates images of the heart, cardiac chambers, valves and vessels for the purpose of assessing heart functions and diagnoses. Collaborates closely with cardiologists, performing the technical aspects of examinations, evaluating findings and reporting them to cardiologists.
