Description
Perfusionist – CVOR
Location: Richland, WA
Start Date: 12/14/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 5x8s | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM & Night Shift: 5x8s | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Call required: 24/7 call shared among 3 perfusionists
Weekend coverage: Every 3rd weekend
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Perfusionist experience
- CVOR experience required
- Active WASHINGTON Perfusionist license
- First-time travelers accepted
- 1:1 patient ratio
- BLS required
- Epic experience preferred
- Cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) experience required
- Experience with cardioplegia, anticoagulation, flow rates, temperature management, ultrafiltration, and initiation/weaning of CPB
- Experience with hypothermic circulatory arrest and left heart bypass
- Experience with autologous blood salvage and off-pump surgery conversion to CPB
- Mechanical assist device experience: Impella, IABP, and VAD
- Must be comfortable managing CPB emergencies, including power failure, massive air embolus, and oxygenator failure
