PAY:
Local Pay - $100 to $110/hr on W2

Travelers Pay: 
Taxable Amount - $78/hr on W2
Lodging Stipend - $800 weekly
Meals Stipend - $530 weekly
Weekly Gross - $4,450 weekly including stipend for 40 hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Location - Johnson City, NY 13790
Duration - 13 weeks contract

Shift - 8X5 days, 1 night per week call and 1 weekend per month call.

Weekly Hours - 40 hours 

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures under the direction of a physician in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Customers served include UHSH employees, Medical Staff, patients and regulatory agencies. Priority will be given to activities that directly affect customer service. Complies with the Interventional Cardiology departmental on call policy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions are those tasks, duties and responsibilities that are performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
Provides technical support for all Cath Lab procedures to include catheterizations, angioplasty, structural heart procedures, peripheral angiography and angioplasty, temp pacemaker insertion and LV assist device insertions.
Responsible for technical support and clinical assistance, both sterile and non-sterile, of procedures including catheterizations, angioplasty, structural heart procedures, peripheral angiography and angioplasty, temp pacemaker insertion and LV assist device insertions.
Operates required advanced imaging equipment using established guidelines and imaging protocols for interventional and non-interventional patient procedures.
Ensures proper safety standards are met, and radiation safety practices are adhered to.
Instructs students and residents and performs preceptor duties when necessary.
Performs quality assurance checks on equipment.
Assists in maintaining supply inventory for all Cath Lab procedures.
Demonstrates working knowledge of UHS information systems.
Demonstrates knowledge of coding procedures for accurate billing of all Cath Lab procedures -Learns new techniques and technology by attending lectures, seminars, and educational readings.
Non-Essential Functions: Duties the employee may perform that are not essential as defined in the job description.
Will perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENT:
3+ years cath experience as they would be required to take stemi call on their own

NYS Radiology Technologist license.
ARRT(R).
BLS Certification
