Travel ER RN | 13-Week Contract | Days

We're seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a fast-paced Emergency Department. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a high-acuity environment and are comfortable caring for a diverse patient population ranging from urgent care cases to trauma and critical care patients.

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: 09/21/2026
  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks
  • Shift: Days
  • Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week)
  • Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
  • Patient Ratio: Up to 1:5
  • Charting System: Cerner
  • Interview Required
  • Traveler must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Position Highlights

This Emergency Department treats a wide variety of patients, including:

  • Trauma and critical care patients
  • Pediatric patients
  • Psychiatric emergencies
  • Urgent care and lower-acuity cases

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with:

  • Trauma room assignments as the bedside trauma RN
  • Medication titrations
  • Arterial line management
  • Mass transfusion protocols
  • Chest tube management
  • Emergency stabilization and critical care interventions
  • Delivering safe, high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • PALS Certification
  • TNCC Certification
  • NIHSS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN
  • Previous Cerner experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience

  • Client interview required prior to offer

  • Up to three shift cancellations per 13-week contract may occur per facility policy
