- Cardiac Medical Intensive Care Unit (RN)
- Shift & Hours:
- Nights, 1900–0730
- 36 or 48 weekly guaranteed hours (48 hours is an increased rate)
- 13-week assignment
- Patient Ratios & Unit Info:
- 22 beds
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Patient Types: Sepsis, respiratory (pneumonia, COVID, ARDS, etc.), post cardiac arrest, GI bleed, DKA, PE, renal failure, liver failure, pancreatitis, overdose, suicidal ideations, CIWA
- Equipment Used:
- Impella, IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal cooling device, Arctic Sun
- EMR:
- EPIC
- Floating Information & On-Call:
- Floating: May be floated to other stepdown units depending on staffing needs
- Weekends: As required by facility / every other weekend
