CT Technologist – Radiology | Mercy Hospital South

Location: St. Louis, MO
Shift: Evening Shift | 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM | 5x8s
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of CT Tech experience
Active CT Registry
AHA BLS certification required
Experience with GE CT equipment
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Experience working with Inpatient, Outpatient, and ER patients
Ability to float as required
Strong adaptability and teamwork skills

Job Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologists and physicians
Assist with CT-guided and special procedures, including biopsies, ablations, myelography, and arthrography
Provide essential patient care before, during, and after procedures
Follow radiation safety principles and protocols
Organize daily CT schedules and serve as a dedicated CT resource during the shift
Assist radiologists with special CT procedures
Float to other areas as required by the facility

Additional Details: No call requirements Weekend work required every weekend Orientation for night-shift staff is conducted on the day shift; traveler must be available for the full orientation week Black scrubs required Flu vaccination or an approved Mercy exemption is required for travelers from November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted
