Location: Plainview, Texas

Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Take your imaging expertise to the next level with a unique multispecialty Ultrasound/Echo Tech travel assignment! This position is ideal for a highly versatile technologist who is confident performing General Ultrasound, OB/Fetal, Breast, Vascular, and Echocardiography studies.
You'll work in a collaborative acute-care environment with exposure to a broad patient population and advanced imaging procedures. Candidates interested in an extended 26-week assignment may also be considered.
🩺 Multispecialty Experience Required
This is a true multispecialty position. Candidates must be experienced and comfortable performing:
- General Ultrasound
- Abdomen, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen
- Abdominal aorta
- Appendix
- Pediatric abdomen/pelvis
- Small parts and superficial masses
- Thyroid and testicular/scrotal imaging
- OB / Fetal Ultrasound
- 1st, 2nd & 3rd trimester studies
- Fetal anatomical surveys
- Amniotic fluid index
- Placenta previa
- Fetal measurements and anatomy
- Transvaginal ultrasound
- Renal/pelvic and gynecologic imaging
- Breast Ultrasound
- Vascular Ultrasound
- Carotid
- Aorta
- Upper & lower extremity arterial studies
- Upper & lower extremity venous studies
- Renal artery duplex
- Color flow, Doppler and duplex studies
- Echocardiography
- Adult Echo
- Contrast Echo
- Echo Stress – Treadmill

Experience with the following is highly valuable:
- Ultrasound-guided biopsy / Fine Needle Aspiration
- Paracentesis
- Transplant studies – Liver & Renal
- Breast imaging
- Pediatric and neonatal ultrasound
- Portable studies
- High-risk OB
- ICU and Emergency Department imaging
👥 Patient Population
You'll care for a diverse patient population including:
Neonates • Infants • Pediatrics • Adolescents • Adults • Geriatrics
The role may involve imaging across multiple clinical settings, including Emergency Department, ICU, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, High-Risk OB and adult patient populations.
📞 Call Requirement – HARDSTOP
Call is mandatory and candidates must be flexible with the call schedule.
- Monday–Friday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Saturday & Sunday: 24-hour call coverage
- Weekend on-call coverage is required
- All call coverage must be accepted as a condition of the assignment
💻 Technology & Equipment
- Epic EMR – Required
- GE ultrasound equipment
- PACS
- Change Healthcare – training can be provided during the assignment
🎓 Required Certifications
Candidates must hold one of the following:
- ARDMS
- ARDMS VT
- CCI
- RDCS
BLS certification required.
🏥 Department & Team Environment
- Multispecialty ultrasound and echo environment
- Interdisciplinary support from Radiology
- Approximately 8:1 patient ratio
- No required floating between units
- Opportunity to assist with precepting clinicians
- Collaborative acute-care setting
- Free parking in unrestricted facility parking areas
- COVID-19 vaccination not required
📋 Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have strong, hands-on experience across General Ultrasound + OB/Fetal + Breast + Transvaginal + Vascular + Echocardiography.
