  1. CT/X-Ray Technologist – Dual Modality

    Shift: 12-Hour Day Shift
    Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
    Weekly Hours: 36 hours
    Regular Schedule: Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
    Setting: Freestanding Emergency Department

    Job Overview

    We are seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist to join a team at a freestanding Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both Diagnostic X-Ray (DX) and CT and comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency care environment.

    Facility Details

    • Freestanding Emergency Department
    • 12-bed ED
    • Average census: approximately 28 patients per day
    • Imaging services include Diagnostic X-Ray, CT, and Ultrasound
    • Team-oriented work environment
    • Typically 2–3 Radiology Technologists are staffed per shift

    Responsibilities

    • Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations according to department protocols.
    • Provide timely and accurate imaging for emergency patients.
    • Work with patients presenting with MVCs, shortness of breath, falls, injuries, DVTs, and other emergency conditions.
    • Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, radiologists, and other clinical staff.
    • Document examinations accurately in the EMR and imaging systems.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 1 year of CT experience
    • Experience performing both Diagnostic X-Ray and CT
    • BLS certification required
    • ARRT-CT required
    • Strong emergency imaging experience preferred
    • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced freestanding ED environment
    • First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience

    Technology

    • EMR: Epic
    • PACS: Philips iSite
    • CT: GE CT Scanner
    • X-Ray: Shimadzu XR equipment

    Schedule & Call

    • Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
    • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
    • This position primarily works Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
    • Approximately 2 nights of call per month
    • Technologist may have the opportunity to select their call nights
    • Travelers are expected to work approximately 75% of holidays
    • Weekend requirements apply

    Orientation

    • NEO orientation
    • Approximately 3 days of departmental orientation

    Additional Information

    • Travelers may be asked to take call for two freestanding ED facilities
    • Free parking
    • Black scrubs
    • Radius rule: Traveler's permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the home unit
    • RTO requests require manager approval

    Must-Have Skills

    1+ year of CT experience | BLS | ARRT-CT | Diagnostic X-Ray | CT | Dual-Modality Experience
