Hartford, WI – MRI Tech Opportunity

Quick Glance:

Schedule: Fri 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM | Sat–Sun 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Mon 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
Shift: Days/Evenings mix (4x10s)
Call: None
Floating: None
Scope: Full-spectrum MRI including neuro, spine, cardiac, breast, abdominal, and ortho imaging
Environment: Small, high-efficiency MRI suite with strong team support

Scope of Responsibilities:

Perform advanced MRI procedures across a wide range of patient types and diagnostic needs
Handle complex imaging including tumor workups, cord compression, cardiac studies, and spectroscopy
Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol
Operate Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T MRI system
Accurately document and manage workflow using EPIC EMR and Change Healthcare PACS
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during all exams
Collaborate with imaging assistants, technologists, and clinical staff to maintain efficiency and quality

Must-Have Credentials:

ARRT (MR) certification
BLS (AHA) certification
Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience
Strong IV start skills (required)
EPIC EMR experience (required)
Must be comfortable with a wide variety of MRI case types

Additional Details:

Patient Population: Inpatient & Outpatient | Primarily adult
Volume: ~9 patients/day on weekends, ~17 patients/day on weekdays
Team Support: Imaging assistant, additional tech coverage during weekdays, hospitalist support 24/7
Orientation: New hire orientation + 1 shift unit orientation
Scrubs: Any solid color
Parking: Free
