Description

MRI Technologist

Location: Charlotte, NC
Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | Friday–Sunday
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a night shift travel assignment in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI safety knowledge, experience handling a variety of patient types, and the ability to work independently during night shifts.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
ARRT(MR) certification required
BLS certification required
Acute care or outpatient MRI experience accepted
First-time travelers welcome
ARMRIT certification not accepted
EPIC experience preferred

Required Skills

MRI safety and screening procedures
Contrast administration and IV skills
Experience with critical and ventilated patients
Operating oxygen and suction equipment
MRI-compatible telemetry monitoring
Knowledge of MRI safety restrictions and equipment
Ability to care for confused and high-acuity patients
Strong critical-thinking and communication skills
Comfortable working independently as a solo MRI Tech at night

MRI-compatible telemetry monitoring

Additional Details

Night shift position with MRI Assistant support
Lead MRI Tech available by phone
On-call requirement: approximately 1 weekend per month
Every other holiday required
Free parking
Black scrubs required
Traveler must live more than 50 miles from the facility
