Job Title: CT Technologist (CT Tech) – ARRT
Location: Atlanta, GA
Shift: 12/hr night shift
Days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Start Date: 09/08/2026
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks with the possibility of extension)

Position Summary

A CT Technologist (Computed Tomography Technologist) performs diagnostic CT examinations using specialized imaging equipment. The technologist prepares patients, operates CT scanners, administers contrast when authorized, and ensures high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and radiation protection standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans according to physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients correctly for CT examinations.
  • Operate and monitor CT imaging equipment.
  • Administer contrast media as permitted by facility policy and scope of practice.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or changes in condition.
  • Maintain radiation safety and follow ALARA principles.
  • Verify patient information, exam orders, and appropriate imaging protocols.
  • Evaluate image quality and obtain additional images when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR/PACS.
  • Follow infection control, patient safety, and equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • ARRT (CT) certification required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience required.
