Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Day ShiftSchedule<ul><li>Monday–Friday</li><li>7:00 AM–3:30 PM</li><li>No self-scheduling or block scheduling</li></ul>Call<ul><li>One weekday of call each week</li><li>Every 4th weekend:<ul><li>Friday: 4:30 PM–7:00 AM</li><li>Saturday and Sunday: 24-hour call</li></ul></li><li>No holiday call at this time</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Active BLS</li><li>ARRT or NMTCB certification</li><li>Active West Virginia license</li><li>Nuclear Medicine experience</li><li>Must know how to start IVs</li><li>Must know how to perform EKGs</li><li>Copy of an unexpired driver’s license must be included with submission</li><li>Traveler’s agency must provide a radiation badge</li></ul>Job DutiesYou will perform:<ul><li>Cardiac scans</li><li>HIDA scans</li><li>Gastric-emptying studies</li><li>Lung scans</li><li>Thyroid-uptake studies</li><li>Tilt studies</li></ul>The department performs about 12–15 studies each day.Department Information<ul><li>4 scanners/rooms</li><li>2 Siemens E-Cam scanners</li><li>2 Philips BrightView scanners</li><li>Meditech Expanse charting</li><li>AGFA IMPAX imaging system</li><li>Radiologist is available in-house</li><li>Lead technologist works in the department</li><li>No floating to other departments</li><li>Department orientation is provided</li></ul>
