Description

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

**Schedule**  
Variable shift, 3 mandatory calls in 13 weeks

**Assignment Details**  
Contract Length: 13 weeks  
Guaranteed Hours: 36

**Requirements**  
- Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)  
- American Heart Association BLS  
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider required  
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion (or equivalent AWHONN approved course)  
- American Heart Association ACLS (Not required if a Lactation RN)  
- Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education  
- Certification in lactation consulting/counseling (if Lactation RN)  

**Roles & Responsibilities**  
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patient health or situation.  
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.  
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient.  
- Develop and implement a plan of care to meet expected outcomes.  
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers in nursing practice.  
- Integrate research findings into nursing practice and evaluate performance.  

**Compliance / Notes**  
- The facility reserves the right to cancel three (3) shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances.  
- Traveler must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered.
