ER RN Travel Assignment
This is a high-acuity Emergency Room RN travel position for an experienced traveler with strong ER skills and recent specialty experience. EPIC experience is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience. Previous travel nursing experience is also required.
The department is a 35-bed ER with two trauma bays and an 8-bed Fast Track area. It is a Level II trauma center for both adults and pediatrics and receives Stroke and STEMI patients. The department sees approximately 111 patients per day, providing a diverse mix of emergency cases including GSWs, violent-crime injuries, strokes, STEMIs, behavioral health emergencies, pediatric respiratory illnesses, fractures, and other traumatic injuries.
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. TNCC may be waived for travelers who have exceptionally strong ER experience.

The ER utilizes physicians and mid-level providers, with peak coverage reaching approximately two MDs and three mid-levels. The team also includes LPNs, ED technicians, and paramedics who assist with IVs and other technician duties.
Schedule
Multiple 12-hour start times are available, generally ranging from 5 AM through 6 PM, including 6, 8, 10, 12, 1, 3, and 6 o’clock starts. The manager creates the schedule and will make an effort to accommodate block scheduling when possible.
