Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Chula Vista, CA
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days/Night Shift 
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
 

Requirements

• CA RN License required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• NIHSS required
• PALS required
• CPI or comparable certification required
  • Must be an 8-hour class
  • At least 50% of the class must be in person
• BSN or ADN required
• Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty area

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic, and individualized patient care.
• Perform the complete nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assess and prioritize patient/family needs.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans as needed.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to other healthcare team members.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Advocate for patients and families.
• Support quality patient outcomes and safe patient care.
