Description
Can submit up to 45 days out.
Radiation Oncology.
General Certification Requirements: BLS.
Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: ARRT registered Radiation Therapist, WV state license.
Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No.
MUST have skills/experience: IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT, Varian Equipment: Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator or the Varian ARIA Oncology Information System.
Looking for someone who has experience with their average patient load (25 patients per machine - 50 total +6-9 CT sim patients per day).
Average # of scans/studies per day: N/A Tx 25 patients/ linac.
** mix of both adult and pediatric population; minimal pediatric cases but we do care for that population as well.
Department Specific Equipment: Varian Trilogy, Varian Truebeam, Siemens Somation go.
Shifts & Scheduling: 5x8 hours or possibly 4x10 hours.
Weekend Requirements: none.
Holiday Requirements: none.
Call or Standby requirement? None.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
