Description
Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Private Outpatient Clinic
Fort Collins, Colorado
Setting: Private Outpatient Orthopedics
Profession: Physical Therapist (PT)
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Full-Time
Care Model: 1:1 Patient Care
Outpatient PT Opportunity – Fort Collins, CO
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment with a private outpatient clinic in Fort Collins, Colorado.
The biggest selling point is the clinic's 1:1 patient-care model. Rather than routinely managing multiple patients simultaneously, you'll have dedicated time with each patient, allowing for more individualized, hands-on treatment.
For a PT who enjoys outpatient orthopedics but wants to get away from the high-volume clinic environment, this is a particularly attractive opportunity.
Position Highlights
- Private outpatient clinic
- 1:1 patient-care model
- 13-week travel assignment
- Full-time schedule
- Primarily orthopedic and musculoskeletal caseload
- Individualized treatment approach
- More dedicated therapist-to-patient interaction
- Greater opportunity for hands-on treatment and patient education
- Focus on quality of care rather than high-volume scheduling
- Excellent Northern Colorado location
Why the 1:1 Care Model?
A 1:1 treatment model gives you dedicated time with each patient instead of constantly bouncing between multiple patients.
That can mean more individualized treatment, more opportunity for hands-on care and patient education, stronger therapist-patient relationships, and the ability to closely monitor progress and adjust treatment throughout the visit.
For a PT who loves outpatient but doesn't love the "patient mill" model, this is the feature I'd lead with.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current Colorado PT license or Compact privilege
- Current BLS certification
- Strong orthopedic evaluation and treatment skills
- Strong patient communication and education skills
- Interest in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
- Previous outpatient experience preferred
What You'll Do
You'll evaluate and treat orthopedic, musculoskeletal, post-operative, and functional conditions while developing individualized plans of care.
Treatment may include therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual interventions as appropriate, patient education, and individualized home exercise programs. You'll monitor progress and modify treatment based on patient response while working within the clinic's 1:1 care model.
Why Fort Collins, CO?
Fort Collins is a fantastic location for an active traveler. You're at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, with hiking, biking, lakes, trails, and mountain recreation right outside the city.
The city itself has a lively downtown, restaurants, breweries, shopping, and Colorado State University. Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park also make excellent day or weekend trips.
It's a particularly good assignment for a PT who wants an outdoor Colorado lifestyle without living directly in the Denver metro.

Ardor Health Solutions
Ardor Health Solutions formed in 2001 and remains a privately held medical staffing business owned and operated by the same family. Over the years we have expanded our staffing and recruiting capabilities to include therapy services, nursing services, and all allied services.
If you would like the personal service that comes with a staff of recruiters that have an average tenure with the company between 5 and 15 years, and the knowledge of our client services representatives with similar experience, there is no need to look any further.
At Ardor Health Solutions you can expect better than average pay packages, extraordinary benefits, and the peace of mind that you will not be forgotten once you start your assignment. Perhaps that is why so many of our caregivers have completed more than a dozen different assignments with us over our long history.
Ardor Health is pleased to offer a free medical insurance plan in addition to major medical plans. Please contact a recruiter for more details on the free medical plan and/or any other general inquiries.
One final fact about Ardor Health Solutions. We have been paying our caregivers weekly since 2001, and we have never, ever, missed a payroll. If you are currently on an assignment with us, thank you. If you have traveled with us before, we would like to welcome you back. If you have never traveled with us, give us a try. You will not be disappointed.
