HIGHLIGHTS:

• M/S Neuro RN (Intermediate/NEURO or ICU experience) -- 12hr Days
• Required certifications: WI RN (or compact) License, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS & NIHSS
• Minimum Experience Required: 3+ years experience as an RN & 1 travel contract REQUIRED.
• Any ICU/IMC (intermediate care) experience is STRONGLY PREFERRED.
• Charting Experience: EPIC within the last year (Strongly preferred)
• Desired Skillset: Experience in stroke and post-op back/spine/cervical
• Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates
• Primary Cases: Stroke, post op spinal surgeries/brain surgeries

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Patient Ratios: 1:4 - We typically have between 4-5 RNs on during the shift and 2 patient care technicians.
• Unit Overview: 16 bed unit; Neurology patients; mostly post stroke patients and post-op patients from brain/neck/spine surgeries. Many of our patients are post trauma patients and TBI. We do have medical patients at times as well.
