Level 2 Radiology CT Technologist

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Radiology CT Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment. The CT Technologist will operate advanced computed tomography equipment, perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain accurate imaging and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
- Prepare patients for CT procedures, explain examinations, and ensure proper positioning.
- Operate CT scanners safely and efficiently while following department protocols.
- Administer contrast media as authorized and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Verify patient identification, clinical history, exam indications, and applicable safety precautions.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Follow radiation safety practices and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Assess images for technical quality and repeat scans when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and exam-related information.
- Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.
- Follow infection-control procedures and organizational policies.
- Provide compassionate, professional patient care throughout the imaging process.
Required Qualifications
- Previous professional experience as a CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, protocols, and radiation safety.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with the healthcare team.
- Strong patient-care, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a hospital or high-volume diagnostic imaging environment.
- Experience with a variety of CT examinations, including routine and contrast-enhanced studies.
- Familiarity with PACS/RIS and electronic medical record systems.
- Experience with trauma, emergency, inpatient, and outpatient CT imaging.
Certification & Compliance
- Current ARRT (Radiography) certification, as applicable.
- Current CT certification/registry or eligibility as required by the facility.
- Current BLS certification preferred/required according to facility policy.
- Active state radiologic technologist license or eligibility, where applicable.
- Must meet all facility-specific health, background, credentialing, and compliance requirements.

Assignment Details
This is a Level 2 CT Technologist contract assignment running from September 14, 2026 through December 19, 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to provide safe, accurate, and efficient CT imaging services while maintaining excellent patient care and professional standards.
