Tell us about the unit(s):

·       Number of Beds – 20

·       Number of Staff –  5 RNs & 2 LNAs and we flex with volume

·       Type of staff:

o   Day Shift – 5 RNs

o   Night Shift – 5 RNs

·       Patient Ratios – 4:1

·       Type of equipment –  GE cardiac monitoring, Hospira IV pumps

·       EMR – Expanse

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·        Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills & critical drip experience

·       2 years PCU experience

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·        Pre-post cardiac cath & pacer patient care experience

·        Prior HCA experience

·         N/A

Best personality Fit:

·        Self-directed, confident, positive even when faced with difficult circumstances, strong communication skills, team player

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·       ACLS, BLS, NIAH

Floating Area(s):

·       Med Surg

·       ICU (for border pateints)

·       Emergency Department (for ED holds)

Dress Code:

·       Scrub Color/Attire –  Professional.  No required color

 

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

·       Will discuss during interview & orientation

 

Weekends and On call (if any):

·       Every other weekend or the equivalent if staffing needs require this
