Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient Rehab

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for an outpatient rehab contract in Marietta, Georgia. This opportunity is focused on outpatient orthopedic care and is a great fit for a PT who enjoys a fast-paced clinic environment, functional treatment planning, and helping patients return to mobility, strength, and independence.

Position Highlights

• 36 Hours Guaranteed
• Expectation to work up to 40 hours
• Patient Volume: 12–14 patients/day
• Productivity Expectation: 60 visits/week
• Float to nearby clinics may be required
• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and functional needs.
• Treat outpatient orthopedic, post-surgical, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility interventions.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe movement strategies.
• Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.
• Support occasional double-booking of follow-up visits when appropriate.

Requirements

• Active Georgia PT license required.
• BLS required.
• Outpatient experience preferred.
• New grads not accepted for this role.
• Candidate must be approved by director before any OT hours are worked.
