• Shift: 4x10-hour days
  • 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

License & Certifications

• California RN License: Required in hand at submission
• Pending or temporary CA licenses not accepted
• BLS: Required
• Wound Care Certification: Required
  • Any wound care certification will be considered
  • Course completion alone is not accepted
  • WCC or WOCN preferred

Required Experience

• EPIC experience: Required
• Charting system: Epic
• Community hospital experience: Preferred
• LTAC experience: Preferred
• Trauma Level I/II experience: Preferred
• Travel experience: Not required

• HAPI / pressure injuries
• Wound consultations
• Ostomy care and management
• Wound VAC therapy
• Pressure ulcer assessment and management
• Stage I–IV wounds
• Tunneling and undermining
• Necrotic tissue/debris
• Burns
• Colostomy / ileostomy
• Mucous fistula
• Stoma management
• Wound debridement
• Hydrocolloids, hydrogels, alginates, silver products
• Nutritional status assessment
• Patient/family education
• Continence skin care
• Venous ulcers and wound management
• Wound VAC

• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Daily Census: 950

Submission Requirements

• 2 professional references required at submission
  • Must be from within the past 1 year of employment
  • Must be a supervisor or higher
  • Charge RN references are not accepted
  • Hard stop if requirements aren't met
• All previous Cedars employment must be included on the profile
• Previous permanent employees must be separated for:
  • 24 months before returning as a traveler at most Cedars-Sinai facilities
  • 12 months for CSMN
• Any license/background hit requires a detailed written statement
• Open/pending license or background hits are an automatic redirect
• All hits must be completely closed

 Key Screening / Hard Stops

• CA RN license must be active and in hand at submission
• No pending/temp CA license
• Wound care certification is mandatory
• EPIC experience is mandatory
• 2 years experience preferred; 1.5 years can be considered
• 2 supervisor-level references from the past year required
• Charge RN references not accepted
• No floating required
• No call required
• Locals accepted — no radius restriction
