Echocardiography Technologist – Travel Assignment

Shift: 5×8-hour Day Shifts with rotating evening/night/weekend call

Position Requirements

• Certification: RDCS
• BLS: AHA BLS required
• Left-handed scanner: Preferred
• Travel Radius: Permanent address must be 75+ miles from the facility
• CAPS Requirement: Must apply ASAP; processing may take up to 2 weeks

Equipment Experience

Preferred experience with:

• Philips EPIC
• Philips CX50
• Siemens ACUSON SC2000
• Siemens Origin

Required Clinical Skills

• TTE
• TEE
• Contrast studies — Optison/Definity
• Bubble studies
• Exercise Stress Echo
• Dobutamine Stress Echo

Preferred: Pediatric TTE experience

Work Locations

Experience may include:

• Inpatient hospital
• Outpatient clinic
• Emergency Room
• Cath Lab

EMR Systems

• Athena
• Meditech
• PICOM

• No guaranteed hours on holidays for clinic workers.
• Correct SSN and DOB must be entered in Medefis to avoid onboarding/IT issues.
• CAPS registration is required for Colorado.
• Out-of-state agencies without a Colorado office should follow the specified Colorado registration process.
• Housing may be available based on availability:
  • Studio: $1,790/month
