Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 3+ years experience and RDCS certification to perform TTE, TEE, and stress echo studies across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Details

• Work across inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, ER, and cath lab settings
• 5 8-hour day shifts per week with rotating evening, night, and weekend call rotation
• Uses Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin equipment
• Performs TTE, TEE, contrast studies (Optison/Definity), bubble studies, and exercise/Dobutamine stress echo
• Occasional pediatric TTE cases preferred
• EMR systems include Athena, Meditech, and PICOM

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer
• RDCS certification required
• CCI Registry (RCS, RVS, RCCS, RCIS) or ARDMS (RVT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Left-handed scanner preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented approach
• Proof of flu vaccination required with no exemptions

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Housing may be available near the facility based on availability
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
