Job Title: Registered Nurse - Pediatrics
Location: White Plains, NY, 10601
Shift: Days- Monday- Friday 8 am-4:30 pm
Shift Length: 5*8 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced RN – Pediatrics with 2+ years of recent acute care hospital inpatient experience. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with a variety of acute and complex medical conditions. The RN should be skilled in pediatric assessment, medication administration, monitoring, and recognizing changes in a child’s condition. Strong communication and the ability to provide age-appropriate care and education to patients and their families are essential. The candidate will collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with acute and complex medical conditions in an inpatient setting.
• Perform age-appropriate assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in the patient’s condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and pediatric safety guidelines.
• Educate and support pediatric patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
