MRI Technologist – Travel Contract

Location: Northside
Position: MRI Technologist
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Local Rule: No local candidates within 50 miles

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a busy MRI department for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong recent MRI experience, be comfortable working independently, and be capable of assisting with inpatient MRI studies in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and department protocols.
Safely screen patients for MRI contraindications and ensure proper preparation.
Operate MRI equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Assist with inpatient MRI studies and safely transport/position patients as needed.
Maintain MRI safety standards and follow all departmental policies.
Work independently while maintaining excellent patient care and workflow efficiency.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience AHA BLS certification required ARRT (MRI) certification required Strong experience working in a busy MRI department Ability to perform MRI procedures independently and efficiently Experience assisting with inpatient MRI studies Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
