Description
Respiratory Therapist – MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center
MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide respiratory care across the hospital’s Respiratory Therapy Department. The RT will assess patients, administer respiratory treatments, manage oxygen and ventilation therapies, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to support patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
Requirements: Previous Respiratory Therapy experience is required, with the ability to work independently in a hospital setting and provide safe, effective respiratory care. Strong assessment, critical-thinking, airway management, and ventilator-management skills are preferred.
Schedule: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, with a 12.5-hour shift. This is a 13-week assignment running from 09/08/2026–12/07/2026. No on-call requirement is listed.
