- Shift: Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00 - 7:30)

Position Summary Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital operating at over 100% capacity seeking a Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse. Patient ratios are typically 1:5 (possible 1:6) with mandatory floating expectations to other Med Surg/Tele, PCU, lower acuity settings, or the ED (1:5 ratio in ED).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of experience required (first-time travelers accepted)
- Active nursing license required at submission (New Mexico license can pend; non-local driver's license required on file; no locals within a 100-mile radius)
- Required Certifications: AHA ACLS, BCLS, and NIH (Strictly no RQI certifications accepted)
- Special skills required: IV starts and telemetry proficiency (must pass EKG testing within 2 tries)
- Holiday commitment: Must work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD)

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
