- Job Title: IMC/PCU/Stepdown - RN (Travel Contract)
- Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown
- Location: Akron, Ohio (Cleveland Clinic Akron General)
- Shift: Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00 - 07:30)

Position Summary Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse needed for night shifts. Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient and family-centered care, participating in every-other-holiday schedules, and successfully passing ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum 2 attempts allowed).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in PCU/Stepdown required
- Active permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand at submission (pending licenses not accepted)
- Required Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS (active and in hand at submittal)
- Submission compliance: Standard Qualivis Cover Sheet, RTO discussed and included at submission, and one mandatory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
