Experience: 2+ years
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Schedule: 3x12s | Sat/Sun - 5a-5.30p, Mon 5p-5.30a 

Float: Required across nearby facilities as needed

 

Department Overview

Level II Trauma Center with dedicated Women's & Children's services handling the majority of OB, neonatal, NICU, and women's imaging. General Ultrasound supports inpatient, ED, outpatient, and procedural imaging needs.

 

Requirements: 
BLS, ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) required

ARDMS AB and OB preferred 

EPIC required 

InteleRad PACS preferred

Siemens experience preferred

PACS and portable ultrasound experience

 

Clinical Experience: 

General, inpatient, and ED ultrasound

Limited OB (>14 weeks / 1st trimester)

Vascular studies, including renal transplant and liver Doppler/TIPS evaluation

Liver elastography in outpatient settings

Ultrasound-guided paracentesis and thoracentesis

Liver, kidney, and soft-tissue biopsies

Drainages and aspirations

Thyroid FNA

Occasional contrast-enhanced liver studies
