Description
RN – Med Surg
Location: Fort Defiance, AZ
Start: 09/21/2026
Duration: 16 weeks
Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts
Hours: 36 hrs one week / 48 hrs the next + up to 1 call shift/week
Requirements:
• 3+ years Med Surg experience
• 1+ year pediatric experience
• Must be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients
• Active AZ/ Compact RN License
• BLS, ACLS & PALS required
• EMR: RPMS
Additional:
• 20-bed Med Surg unit serving adults and pediatrics
• Excellent ratios: typically 4:1, max 5:1; COVID typically 2:1, max 3:1
• Must be flexible for days, weekends and holidays
• May float to other qualified departments
• May assist with flu immunization clinics
• Thanksgiving & Christmas RTO not accepted
• Up to 1 on-call shift/week
• 2 positions available
