Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
- 2+ years L&D experience AND postpartum/Mother-Baby experience — they must have both.
- RNs work both Labor & Delivery and postpartum; this is not a straight Mother/Baby position.
- Must have sterile vaginal exam experience.
- Must have strong fetal monitoring experience: external monitoring, internal monitoring, IUPC placement/calibration, and recognition/treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
- Must have experience with Pitocin/oxytocin and epidural anesthesia management/administration.
- Should have experience with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum, LDRP and postpartum care.
- BLS + NRP required. AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced and FHM are also listed in the job requirements.
- Epic/Excellian is the charting system.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Days or nights, 3x12s: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM every other weekend. No block
